Day 3..."crazy busy day"

Quotes from the kids:
Emma: "This has been a great experience here!!"
Rachael: "The trip has been good so far."
Minna: "The trip is great and fun."
Max W: "The bus rides have been really awesome."
Jim: "Our room is awesome and we have an Xbox." (although Juzzy is still undefeated he claims)
Jeremy: "Everyone is so friendly and its been really fun."
Max T: "I am the undisputed stick cricket champion"
Alex on being dq'd: "It's physically impossible to do three kicks in a fly stroke....I tried it in warm-down!!".....she was dq'd for doing FREE kicks, not THREE kicks....duuhhh  :)

Finalists for tonight (we think):
400 free - beth and tess, sam
200 fly - Tash, cam
50 fly - Connor, Carlos, Leo, Cam, Charlie, Kien-Anh, alex, phoebe, lucy, beth, tash,
50 breast - Lucy, Ruby, connor, pat, kien ahn
50 free - carlos, leo, cam, sam, lucy, bethany (plus many reserves)
50 back - alex and phoebe, lucy, beth, ruby, carlos, leo, seb, sam, kien-anh

Its been a long heats session so far and a longer finals session to come. The majority of the young kids had their first races today with the four 50's being the main focus. It was a big relief for many of them to finally get their Adelaide campaign underway. They even managed to out perform their older buddies when it came to self marshalling!
There were some good results to come out of the 400's as well. Sam and Beth won age group medals, and they, with Tess, qualified for the open final tonight.
